Slow braised beef ribs with sticky marinade made from Waitrose tomato sauce and Woh Hup spare rib sauce.

Yields: Four (4) adults
Beef ribs 800g
Woh hup spare ribs sauce 2 Tbsp
Dark soya sauce 1 Tbsp
Cooking oil 1 Tbsp
Waitrose tomato onion
and garlic pasta sauce 2 Tbsp
Ginger powder 1/2 Tsp
1In a large bowl, add all ingredients except the carrots.
2Mix well with the ribs and marinate overnight.
3Place ribs in baking dish and set oven on 120°C; gas-mark 0.5. Cook for 3 hours turning the pieces over every hour and basting them with cooking juices. Wash, peel and cut the carrots. Garnish the dish with the ribs.
4Chef’s tip: The carrots refresh the mouth for the next bite of rib.
