Date barfi with mixed nuts and coconut

Dates 200g

Mixed nuts (almond, cashew & brazil nuts) roasted 200g or Almonds & macadamia 200 g

Fresh grated coconut (oven dried) 1 cup

White sesame seeds (toasted) 1tbsp

Honey (depending on the wetness of

the dates) 50-80 g


1Roast the nuts on 100 deg for 30 min to dry them. Toast the sesame seeds in a pan. Grate the coconut and dry roast in oven 100 deg until dry and crispy 30-40 min.

2Chop nuts with a knife. Cut the dates into small cubes. Pulse blend together 2 to 3 times using a blender. Pour the mixture into a large bowl.

3Sprinkle the sesame seeds into the mix. Add the honey and shape into small ball.

4Roll in the dried coconut. Serve.
